Responsibilities
- Architect strategic roadmaps for 2026+ by analyzing emerging technologies, socio-economic shifts, and disruptive innovations
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives across AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, and sustainable systems
- Develop scenario-planning models to prepare business units for future market disruptions
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight into product innovation pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and thought leaders
- Author forward-looking thought leadership and market intelligence reports
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, and climate tech
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year strategic frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Strong presentation skills with experience delivering to C-suite audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
