Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI ethics, quantum computing adoption, climate tech breakthroughs) to map 2026 industry disruptions
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for clients in finance, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to co-create future-state business models and innovation roadmaps
- Produce strategic foresight reports with actionable recommendations for C-level stakeholders
- Develop and maintain Horizon's proprietary trend intelligence database using NLP and predictive analytics
- Represent the firm at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research
- Published thought leadership on 2025+ technology or societal trends (Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Review)
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and weak signal detection methodologies
- Proficiency in foresight tools (STEEP analysis, Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Track record of advising Fortune 500 clients on digital transformation and future-proofing
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or futures.io)
