Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive trends with 2026+ impact
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for technology adoption curves
- Produce strategic foresight reports for executive stakeholders
- Facilitate cross-industry workshops on future-proofing methodologies
- Build quantitative models predicting market inflection points
- Advise on R&D pipeline optimization for emerging technologies
- Author thought leadership content positioning NextGen as the future authority
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic consulting or corporate foresight roles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of delivering executive-ready trend analysis
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning capabilities
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Published work in futurist or technology strategy publications
