Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate transformative trends through 2026-2030
- Develop quantitative and qualitative frameworks for future scenario planning and risk mitigation
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight insights into 3-5 year roadmaps
- Author quarterly strategic briefs and annual futurist reports for executive stakeholders
- Curate and host exclusive futurist salons with industry luminaries and academic pioneers
- Guide organizational culture adaptation for emerging workforce paradigms (AI-human collaboration, remote-first ecosystems)
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or equivalent futurist role
- Proven track record of publishing future-focused research (whitepapers, books, TED talks)
- Mastery of scenario planning tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Deep expertise in emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI governance
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or relevant field (PhD preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful integration of foresight into business strategy
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for diverse audiences
