Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 strategic foresight framework, identifying disruptive technologies and paradigm shifts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions with 18-24 month implementation horizons
- Develop quantitative trend models and scenario analyses for emerging markets and disruptive technologies
- Partner with R&D to accelerate commercialization of breakthrough innovations aligned with 2026 market projections
- Deliver executive-level strategic briefings and trend reports to guide multi-billion dollar investment decisions
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Champion a culture of exponential thinking across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech firms
- Proven track record of successfully forecasting and commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
