Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, socio-economic, and environmental trends to forecast industry shifts through 2026
- Develop and maintain strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with company vision
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize future-focused research initiatives
- Present insights to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Monitor competitive landscapes and disruptor ecosystems
- Author thought leadership publications on future trends
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing 3-5 year strategic frameworks
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum computing)
- Exceptional data synthesis and storytelling abilities
- Experience with horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
