Responsibilities
- Forecast technological and societal trends through 2026-2030 horizon using data-driven foresight methodologies
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for quantum computing, AGI, and neurotech convergence
- Partner with R&D teams to align innovation pipelines with future market realities
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging risks and opportunities in next-gen tech
- Design strategic roadmaps for ethical AI adoption and human-machine symbiosis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into organizational DNA
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' trend report for industry stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech analysis
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, or neurotech
- Proven ability to translate complex futures into executable business strategies
- Strong data visualization and scenario modeling skills (e.g., using Trend Impact Analysis)
- Experience advising C-suite on technological disruption scenarios
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology innovation
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-back strategy implementations
