Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate resilience) to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for market volatility and technological convergence
- Present strategic foresight briefings to executive leadership and board committees
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development
- Author quarterly horizon scanning reports with actionable recommendations
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Advise on ethical implications of emerging technologies and societal shifts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with visualization tools (Tableau, Flourish)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS preferred)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term strategy
