Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to forecast 2026 industry landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite clients across Fortune 500 companies
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Prototyping' sprints to validate disruptive concepts
- Author thought leadership publications and deliver keynote presentations at global forums
- Partner with product teams to embed foresight into R&D roadmaps
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies
- Advise on policy implications of emerging technologies for government stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D
- Proven track record of published trend analysis or scenario-planning frameworks
- Expertise in at least two exponential technology domains (e.g., AGI, synthetic biology)
- Strong proficiency in futures research tools (horizon scanning, Delphi methods)
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing strategic decisions
- Certification in foresight methodology (e.g., CFPS) or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ high-impact future-focused initiatives
