Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, biotech, and AI convergence
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Architect ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and neurotech adoption
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future-proofing into enterprise strategy
- Manage $2M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Present foresight insights to Fortune 500 clients and policy stakeholders
- Mentor cross-functional teams in exponential thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D, or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing future-facing technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI governance
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature Futures, or Harvard Business Review
- Experience with scenario planning tools like Gartner Hype Cycle or Deloitte Tech Trends
- Portfolio demonstrating 2020-2025 technology predictions with >80% accuracy
- Fluency in exponential growth modeling and systems thinking
