Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year innovation roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Analyze global tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Lead cross-functional teams in building proof-of-concepts for future-facing products
- Establish KPIs to measure innovation ROI and strategic alignment
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and board members
- Partner with R&D to prioritize breakthrough research initiatives
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks for responsible development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of launching future-focused technologies or products
- Expertise in forecasting methodologies (scenario planning, horizon scanning)
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futurist Studies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating future-strategy implementation success
