Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and predictive modeling
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify opportunities and risks in emerging markets (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate tech)
- Translate future intelligence into actionable roadmaps for product development and market expansion
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members with compelling data narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to access cutting-edge research
- Build and lead a high-performing foresight team with diverse analytical and creative expertise
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Business Analytics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (GenAI, quantum, AR/VR, biotech) and societal implications
- Proven track record of translating future insights into successful business strategies
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing innovation pipelines
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight (articles, whitepapers, books)
