As the 2026 Futurist Lead, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives across Fortune 500 companies to develop long-term resilience frameworks, anticipate technological tipping points, and design adaptive strategies for the post-2025 landscape. You'll lead cross-functional teams in scenario planning workshops and publish influential trend reports that redefine industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 Global Foresight Strategy for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead scenario-planning workshops identifying disruptive trends in AI, climate, and biotechnology
- Produce quarterly 'Horizon Scan' reports with predictive analytics and risk assessments
- Design organizational resilience frameworks for post-2025 market volatility
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives across diverse industries
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging methodologies and trend analysis techniques
- Curate an annual 'Future Forward' conference with industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Proven track record developing long-term strategic roadmaps for 2025+
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., CFS, APF)
- Experience advising C-suite on 10+ year strategic planning cycles
- Exceptional storytelling skills translating complex futures into actionable insights
