Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry projections
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, neuro-interfaces) for strategic opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into actionable business plans
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for cutting-edge innovation
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and investor forums
- Design scenarios for technological disruption and develop mitigation/adaptation strategies
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-focused innovation pipeline
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record in emerging technology adoption and implementation
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, or sustainable tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board members
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
- Strong network of connections in tech innovation ecosystems
