Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead interdisciplinary R&D initiatives spanning AI, biotech, and space exploration domains
- Present futuristic technology frameworks to executive leadership and investment partners
- Establish innovation forecasting methodologies using predictive analytics and scenario planning
- Represent company at World Economic Forum and CES 2026 as keynote speaker
- Mentor junior futurists in speculative design and trend analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Published research in future studies or peer-reviewed tech journals
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech)
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products (minimum 3 commercialized innovations)
- PhD in Technology Futures, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Deep familiarity with Gartner Hype Cycle and Delphi forecasting techniques
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, R, or Julia preferred)
- Validated network of 50+ global tech innovators and venture capitalists
