Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors (quantum, AI ethics, neural interfaces)
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping breakthrough solutions for 2026 challenges
- Analyze global tech trends to identify market opportunities and competitive threats
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech strategies into corporate vision
- Present findings to investors and board members through compelling data visualizations
- Build external partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists in technology forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with 85%+ accuracy
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional data analysis skills with proficiency in forecasting tools
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or major industry conferences
- Experience scaling tech initiatives from concept to global implementation
- Deep understanding of ethical implications of future technologies
