Responsibilities
- Forecast and validate technological paradigms through horizon scanning and scenario modeling
- Develop 2026 innovation frameworks for AI, quantum computing, and neurotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype next-gen human-computer interfaces
- Author forward-looking whitepapers for industry forums and government policy advisory boards
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and national laboratories
- Quantify market readiness through patent landscape analysis and adoption curve mapping
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary Trend Impact Assessment methodology
Qualifications
- PhD in Futurology, Systems Theory, or equivalent strategic foresight certification
- 8+ years in emerging technology strategy with Fortune 500 or startup innovation labs
- Portfolio demonstrating published forecasts with >85% accuracy (2018-2023)
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI safety, or climate tech
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Experience securing federal SBIR grants for transformative technologies
