Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics frameworks for enterprise-level deployments
- Lead cross-functional audits of algorithmic systems for bias and fairness
- Develop governance policies for generative AI and autonomous decision systems
- Coordinate with legal teams on regulatory compliance (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Train technical teams on ethical AI implementation and risk mitigation
- Author industry white papers on responsible AI practices
- Stakeholder communication with C-suite executives and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in AI/ML with 4+ years in governance or ethics roles
- Expertise in NIST AI Risk Management Framework and EU AI Act
- Proven experience building ethics review boards for AI systems
- Strong understanding of fairness metrics and bias detection algorithms
- Certification in AI Ethics (e.g., IEEE, ACM)
- Public speaking experience at tech ethics conferences
- Portfolio of implemented AI governance projects
