Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits using advanced statistical modeling
- Collaborate with ML engineers to implement fairness constraints in model training pipelines
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees and regulatory compliance initiatives
- Author white papers on emerging AI policy challenges for 2026
- Design real-time monitoring systems for AI decision transparency
- Train stakeholders on ethical AI deployment best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in AI Ethics, Machine Learning, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years implementing AI governance frameworks in regulated industries
- Expertise in fairness metrics (e.g., disparate impact, equalized odds)
- Proficiency with Python and bias detection libraries (AIF360, Fairlearn)
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Experience with model interpretability tools (SHAP, LIME)
- Published research on algorithmic accountability or AI safety
