Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems deployed in healthcare and urban infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional audits of algorithmic bias in predictive ML models using advanced fairness metrics
- Develop industry standards for transparent AI decision-making processes with regulatory bodies
- Train technical teams on responsible AI practices through immersive workshops and certification programs
- Author white papers on emerging ethical challenges in quantum computing integration
- Champion stakeholder dialogues between engineers, ethicists, and vulnerable communities
- Monitor global AI regulatory shifts and proactively adapt compliance strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years applied AI ethics experience
- Proven track record implementing bias mitigation frameworks in production ML systems
- Deep expertise in global AI regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks, etc.)
- Strong background in participatory design methodologies with marginalized communities
- Published research in top-tier AI ethics journals or conference proceedings
- Expertise in algorithmic fairness tools (AIF360, Fairlearn, IBM AI Fairness 360)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex ethical concepts for technical and non-technical audiences
