Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-layered safety architectures for Level 4 autonomous systems
- Develop quantum-validated simulation models for catastrophic failure scenarios
- Lead cross-functional teams in stress-testing AI decision-making frameworks
- Establish ISO 26262-compliant validation protocols for edge-case handling
- Architect real-time redundancy systems for critical vehicle functions
- Collaborate with regulators to define next-generation safety standards
- Document and patent breakthrough safety methodologies
Qualifications
- Masters/PhD in Robotics, Mechatronics, or related field
- 5+ years developing safety-critical embedded systems
- Expertise in ISO 26262, SOTIF, and ASIL-D standards
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and CARLA simulation environments
- Strong background in sensor fusion (LiDAR, radar, camera) validation
- Experience with quantum computing algorithms for risk modeling
- Certified Functional Safety Engineer (ISO 26262) preferred
- Published research in autonomous safety systems
