Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Register guests by conducting a room inventory and processing payments efficiently.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails promptly, addressing inquiries or routing them appropriately.
- Assist guests with check-out procedures and answer questions regarding local area attractions and services.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and lobby.
- Handle cash, credit cards, and other financial transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous customer service experience is a plus, but not mandatory for this entry-level role.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light objects.
- A valid driverβs license is preferred.
