About the Role:

In this key role, you will manage the check-in and check-out processes, answer high-volume phone lines, and assist guests with inquiries regarding local attractions, dining, and entertainment. Your ability to solve problems with a smile will ensure every guest feels valued and at home.

Responsibilities

  • Execute efficient and accurate check-in and check-out procedures for all guests, including issuing room keys and processing payments.
  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and bid them farewell warmly upon departure, ensuring a positive first and last impression.
  • Manage high-volume incoming calls, responding to inquiries promptly and routing messages accurately.
  • Handle guest complaints and special requests with grace, escalating complex issues to the Manager on Duty when necessary.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, lobby, and public spaces.
  • Assist in administrative tasks such as data entry, posting charges, and managing the lost and found.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, hotel operations, or customer service preferred (1-2 years).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Property Management Systems (PMS) is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy and problem-solving.
