Responsibilities
- Manage check-in/check-out procedures for overnight guests with precision and efficiency
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly using empathetic communication skills
- Monitor security protocols and ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records using hotel systems
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for guest requests
- Update reservation systems and manage room availability in real-time
- Prepare end-of-night reports and ensure smooth transition to day shift
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year front desk or customer service experience in hospitality
- Strong problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Protel)
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
- Basic knowledge of Sacramento attractions and transportation options
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
