Responsibilities
- Guest Services: Provide warm and welcoming greetings to all guests upon arrival and departure, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process.
- Inquiries: Handle guest requests, questions, and complaints professionally and efficiently, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Operations: Manage the front desk operations, including answering multi-line phones, processing payments, and managing reservations using hotel software.
- Security: Verify the identity of guests, issue room keys/cards, and ensure the security and safety of the hotel premises.
- Communication: Relay accurate information to housekeeping, maintenance, and bell services to ensure guest needs are met promptly.
- Appearance: Maintain the professional appearance and cleanliness of the front desk area to reflect the high standards of our brand.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a luxury hotel or high-volume front desk environment.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in MS Office and hotel property management systems (PMS) such as Opera or similar.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of the English language.
- Interpersonal: Demonstrated ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
