Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all registration information is accurate and complete.
- Manage phone inquiries, reservations, and guest requests promptly and professionally.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues with a focus on customer satisfaction and problem-solving.
- Process payments accurately using the hotel property management system (PMS).
- Assist with concierge services, including restaurant recommendations and local transportation arrangements.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to uphold the hotel's high standards of presentation.
- Monitor access cards and security systems to ensure the safety of guests and property.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality certification is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Delphi).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Professional appearance and grooming standards.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as needed.
