- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Drive innovation sprints focused on solving 2026-era challenges (resource scarcity, climate resilience)
- Present visionary concepts to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Secure and manage $5M+ annual R&D budgets for experimental projects
- Mentor talent in emerging technology forecasting and futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology leadership with proven track record of scaling innovations
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AR/VR, climate tech)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or major tech conferences
- Experience securing government grants and private venture capital
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and regulatory landscapes
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ commercially deployed future-tech solutions
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, Foresight Practitioner)
