Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with disruptive potential (AI, quantum, Web3)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to anticipate industry shifts
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior innovation specialists and foster a culture of experimentation
- Manage R&D budget allocation for strategic technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in developing 3-5 year tech roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech)
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight certification preferred
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing $1M+ innovation budgets
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business required
