Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap with measurable impact milestones
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, neuromorphic AI, carbon-negative tech)
- Establish strategic partnerships with quantum startups, AI research labs, and climate-tech accelerators
- Present technology forecasts and innovation roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio with rigorous ROI analysis for emerging technologies
- Author white papers on future tech trends for industry conferences and policy forums
- Mentor a team of 15+ engineers and researchers in cutting-edge methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology leadership with 5+ years in emerging tech strategy
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science/Engineering with focus on quantum/AI/climate tech
- Proven track record launching at least two breakthrough technologies to market
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, synthetic biology, advanced materials science
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding from government/private sources
- Published researcher with 15+ peer-reviewed papers or equivalent patents
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
