Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market integration
- Develop comprehensive strategic roadmaps aligning technological innovation with business objectives and regulatory frameworks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future-proof solutions and prioritize R&D investments
- Present foresight analyses to executive stakeholders and industry conferences to influence tech adoption
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and startups to co-develop next-generation prototypes
- Monitor global tech policy developments and ensure compliance with future regulatory landscapes
- Mentor junior strategists in future-scanning methodologies and trend synthesis techniques
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership within tech-forward industries
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful future-tech roadmaps (2019-2025)
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Strong presentation skills demonstrated at executive/board levels and industry summits
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTE, CFS)
- Portfolio demonstrating previous future-tech strategy implementations with measurable ROI
