Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with $10M+ annual budgets
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups for acquisition/partnerships
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and board members
- Author whitepapers on future tech trends for industry conferences
- Manage a team of 5-7 senior technologists and researchers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation grants
