Responsibilities
- Architect the 2026 technology roadmap integrating quantum computing, neural interfaces, and decentralized AI
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to prototype next-gen human-machine interaction systems
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present future technology frameworks to C-suite executives and board of directors
- Drive adoption of sustainable tech practices in product development lifecycle
- Secure patents for breakthrough technologies with projected 2026 commercialization
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging technologies and future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum, AI, or biotech)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology preferred
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 5+ year commercialization cycles
- Deep expertise in ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation principles
- Experience securing federal grants and private R&D funding ($1M+)
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 technology journals
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, scenario planning)
