Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead discovery of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Direct $15M+ R&D portfolios through incubation to commercialization phases
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation hubs
- Present technology briefings to C-suite and board members on industry disruption vectors
- Drive patent strategy and IP protection for breakthrough innovations
- Mentor next-gen engineers in futuristic skill development (neuro-interfaces, synthetic biology)
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech roles
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Proven track record of launching 3+ category-defining products
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: AGI, quantum computing, or climate tech
- Executive-level experience securing $10M+ innovation funding
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, or Japanese for global stakeholder engagement
