- Analyze emerging tech patents and academic research to identify breakthrough opportunities
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate future technologies into product roadmaps
- Present strategic insights to investors and industry stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced AI)
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products with >$100M revenue impact
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals
- Certified in Technology Strategy (CTS) or similar advanced credentials
- Experience with agile development and rapid prototyping methodologies
