Responsibilities
- Forecast global tech trends and their business implications through horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies including Web4, neural interfaces, and climate tech
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future product concepts and service models
- Establish KPIs to measure innovation maturity and track technology adoption curves
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global innovation forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing and executing future-focused technology roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Advanced degree in technology, business, or futures studies
- Exceptional analytical and systems-thinking capabilities
- Strong communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis tools
- Portfolio of published futurist work or strategic frameworks
