- Partner with C-suite executives to align technological initiatives with business objectives
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to the board of directors
- Manage a $5M innovation budget for pilot projects and technology acquisitions
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to quantify market potential of nascent technologies
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or innovation journals
