Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry predictions
- Lead market research on emerging technologies (quantum, AI, blockchain)
- Develop proof-of-concept prototypes for disruptive innovations
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future-tech strategies into business objectives
- Manage a $2M innovation budget with ROI-driven decision making
- Present strategic insights to investors and board members
- Mentor junior technologists in emerging fields
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least 2 emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching innovative products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field
- Published research in technology forecasting or innovation
- Experience with agile development and DevOps practices
- Certification in strategic planning (e.g., PMI-SP)
