Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026+ technology innovation strategy aligned with business objectives
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to forecast market impacts and competitive threats
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and innovation portfolio performance
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build partnerships with research institutions and technology incubators
- Manage annual innovation budget allocation across high-priority initiatives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record anticipating tech disruptions (e.g., blockchain, IoT, generative AI)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep understanding of exponential growth technologies and their market implications
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
