Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for 2026 technology adoption, forecasting market impacts and competitive advantages
- Develop implementation roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AGI)
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate theoretical concepts into practical applications
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and investors with compelling data-driven narratives
- Manage innovation portfolio with rigorous ROI analysis and risk assessment frameworks
- Drive cross-functional alignment between engineering, product, and commercial teams
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI biotech, or space tech)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations with $10M+ revenue impact
- Exceptional data modeling skills with proficiency in forecasting methodologies
- Experience presenting to executive boards and securing innovation funding
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and academic institutions
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
