Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints exploring quantum, biotech, and AI convergence
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-7 year adoption cycles
- Present visionary frameworks to investors and board members securing $50M+ innovation budgets
- Establish ethical governance frameworks for emerging technologies
- Partner with academic institutions and government bodies to shape future tech policy
- Mentor next-gen futurists through our Future Leaders incubator program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record forecasting tech trends (examples: blockchain, metaverse adoption)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or MBA with tech specialization
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Published thought leadership in top-tier innovation journals or conferences
- Experience securing and managing multi-million dollar innovation portfolios
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., from APF or WFS)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for translating complex futures into compelling narratives
