Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) for strategic integration opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups for potential partnerships or acquisitions
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and innovation ROI
- Author thought leadership on future technology paradigms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong financial modeling skills for technology investment decisions
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business (MBA preferred)
