Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) to identify market opportunities and competitive threats
- Develop 5-10 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-generation solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory shifts to ensure compliance and strategic positioning
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Establish KPIs and metrics to track strategic initiatives' impact on innovation velocity
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of successfully launching disruptive technology products or services
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains with published thought leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Strong executive presence and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) or technology management preferred
