- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify disruptive trends and market opportunities
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype futuristic solutions with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives on emerging tech implications
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets for pilot programs and research initiatives
- Mentor junior strategists in future forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 experience
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives (2018-2025)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption trends
- Fluency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
