Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps anticipating quantum computing, bio-integrated systems, and climate-resilient infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with AI/ML specialists and sustainable design teams
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging tech (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, quantum encryption)
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies for C-suite stakeholders
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify and integrate breakthrough startups
- Present visionary briefings to industry consortiums and government innovation boards
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with exposure to exponential tech trends
- Proven track record of launching at least two paradigm-shifting tech initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, AI ethics, or sustainable tech ecosystems
- Exceptional ability to visualize and articulate future-state scenarios
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier publications
- Experience securing $50M+ in R&D funding for speculative technologies
