Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies in quantum, biotech, and AI
- Translate technical capabilities into commercial opportunities with $10M+ potential
- Drive innovation governance frameworks for ethical tech deployment
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI tracking and risk mitigation
- Build ecosystem partnerships with leading research institutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or VC-backed unicorns
- Proven track record launching 3+ market-defining tech products
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, neuromorphic chips)
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science/Engineering preferred
- Certified Innovation Professional (CIP) or equivalent
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Tech S-curves)
- Exceptional stakeholder management across technical and business domains
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Harvard Business Review
