Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts

- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis for emerging technologies
- Collaborate with venture partners to identify acquisition targets and strategic investments
- Present technology vision to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-backed insights
- Establish ethical frameworks for responsible innovation deployment
- Manage $50M+ R&D budget allocation across experimental projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech)
- Proven track record of scaling experimental technologies to market
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Strong network within global research institutions and tech labs
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Innovation Management preferred
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry forums
