Responsibilities
- Lead development of 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic, generative AI) for strategic integration
- Partner with product teams to translate technical vision into actionable product features
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for emerging tech domains
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and research teams
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology paradigms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record in developing tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation management
- Experience presenting complex technical concepts to C-level executives
- Strong network with academic research institutions and tech innovators
- Portfolio published research or patents in emerging technologies
