As a key member of our R&D division, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify disruptive trends, develop long-term technology roadmaps, and drive initiatives that position our company as an industry pioneer. You'll have the autonomy to explore uncharted territories in AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech while mentoring the next generation of innovators.
Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Design strategic pilots for breakthrough innovations (quantum applications, neuromorphic computing, etc.)
- Develop frameworks for ethical technology adoption and responsible innovation
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech strategies into corporate vision
- Establish KPIs to measure technology readiness and market impact of future-focused initiatives
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies and emerging tech adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, biotech)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology forecasting
- Deep understanding of ethical tech frameworks and responsible innovation principles
- Experience developing and executing multi-year technology transformation programs
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership on future trends (patents, white papers, or industry keynotes)
- Proficiency in strategic planning tools and data-driven foresight methodologies
