Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (2026-2030 horizon) to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with 2026 business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling next-gen solutions (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present technology roadmaps and investment recommendations to executive leadership
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory shifts affecting future tech adoption
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons, thought leadership, and R&D initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing 5+ year technology roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite boards and securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Strong background in agile methodologies and rapid prototyping environments
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
