Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients across tech, healthcare, and finance
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare organizations for black swan events
- Author forward-looking thought leadership published in MIT Sloan and Harvard Business Review
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions in our Austin Innovation Lab
- Advocate ethical frameworks for emerging technologies through policy briefings
- Mentor a team of futurists and data scientists using proprietary foresight platforms
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent field
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight or innovation consulting
- Published research on exponential technologies' societal impact
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Track record advising C-suite on digital transformation
- Deep understanding of geopolitical and climate risk models
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into narratives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS preferred)
